Audi and Cadillac target young Chinese buyers

SHANGHAI -- Not long ago, a black stretch version of the Audi A6 was the unofficial ride of choice for Chinese government bureaucrats.
Even today, rows of the cars are visible outside Shanghai's municipal training school, where the officials receive instruction and attend meetings.
Last year, China's government directed its officials to buy domestic limos rather than foreign sedans, such as those from Audi, Mercedes-Benz or BMW.

Infiniti delays Q50 intro

Infiniti has delayed the introduction of the 2014 Q50 sedan by about a month to make last-minute engineering changes. The Q50, the replacement for the G37, was scheduled to go on sale in early July. But U.S. deliveries of the Q50 now will begin Aug. 5, Infiniti said last week. "We are using this time to complete predelivery inspections and preparing the cars with the latest updates and final software before they go on sale by Aug. 5," a spokeswoman said. Subaru designs will embrace angular face of Viziv concept

TOKYO -- Subaru will gradually adopt the angular face of the Viziv concept crossover shown at the Geneva auto show across its lineup, the brand's global design chief says.
